Mass on Friday, July 3 at 9:00 AM: Join us for Mass at St. John the Evangelist (Chiefland), celebrated by Fr. Augustine. All parishioners are welcome.
Mass Schedule Changes (June 29 – July 12): No daily Mass the week of June 29 – July 3 except Tuesday, June 30 at 9:00 AM (St. John) and the special Friday, July 3 Mass. Saturday, July 4 (Independence Day): the 6:30 PM Mass at Christ the Good Shepherd is cancelled — please attend the 4:30 PM Mass at St. John. Sunday, July 5: the 7:30 PM Spanish Mass at CGS is cancelled; the Hispanic community is welcome at the 1:00 PM Mass at Holy Cross. Sunday, July 12: the Bishop celebrates the 10:30 AM Mass at Holy Cross — all invited; the 1:00 PM Spanish (Holy Cross) and 7:30 PM Spanish (CGS) Masses are cancelled.
HCCW Luncheon — July 12: In honor of the Bishop’s visit, the HCCW will host a parish luncheon following the 10:30 AM Mass. Fried chicken and smoked pork provided — all are invited to bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share.
