Important Mass Schedule Changes — June 29 to July 12: During the week of June 29 to July 5 there will be ONLY ONE daily Mass: Tuesday, June 30 at 9:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist (Chiefland). All other weekday Masses at St. John, Holy Cross, St. Andrew, and Christ the Good Shepherd are CANCELLED. On Friday, July 4 (Independence Day) the 6:30 PM Mass at Christ the Good Shepherd is cancelled — please join us at 4:30 PM at St. John the Evangelist. On Saturday, July 5 the Mass at Christ the Good Shepherd is cancelled; the Hispanic community will gather at 1:00 PM at Holy Cross.
Bishop’s Visit — Sunday, July 12: His Excellency the Bishop will celebrate Mass at 10:30 AM at Holy Cross. All communities are invited to this single Mass. The 1:00 PM Spanish Mass at Holy Cross and the 7:30 PM Spanish Mass at Christ the Good Shepherd are CANCELLED that day — all are invited to join the Bishop at 10:30 AM at Holy Cross.
Summer Fun Grill Raffle — Drawing July 12: Holy Cross CCW is holding the Summer Fun Grill Raffle (over $300 value), with the drawing on Sunday, July 12 during the Bishop’s visit. Tickets are 1 for $5.00 or 4 for $15.00. You need not be present to win!
Youth Group meetings resume in August 2026. Holy Cross CCW is on summer break — no meetings in June, July, or August.
