Feast of Our Lady of La Leche — Sunday, October 11: The Most Rev. Erik Pohlmeier, Bishop of St. Augustine, has decided that this year the Feast of Our Lady of La Leche will be observed in all parishes of the diocese.

Holy Cross CCW: Please plan to join us next Sunday, October 4th after our 10:30 mass for our special fellowship luncheon. We will be hosting an Italian themed meal. All are warmly invited to come and enjoy good food and fellowship! The next Council of Catholic Women’s meeting will be on Wednesday, October 7th after the 10:30 am mass. All ladies of the parish are invited to attend.

Singers & Musicians Needed — Saturday Masses: Our Saturday Masses at St. John the Evangelist (4:30 PM) and Christ the Good Shepherd (6:30 PM) are looking for volunteers to join the music ministry. No auditions and no experience required. To volunteer, please call the parish office at (352) 493-9723 or speak with Mayda after Mass.

A heartfelt thank you to our parish community and to everyone who donated to make our Youth Group excursion possible, and a special thanks to the community of St. Andrew Chapel in Cedar Key for your generous donation and support of our youth! Our young people were able to visit St. Catherine of Siena in Orange Park and the Shrine of Our Lady of La Leche in St. Augustine.
